  • 2 scallions Scallions Sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil Toast for extra depth
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch Or flour
For the Wrappers and Frying
  • 20 pieces Dumpling Wrappers Square or round
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil For frying

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, chili paste, sesame oil, scallions, and cornstarch. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are incorporated.
  2. Place dumpling wrappers on a flat surface, spoon filling onto the center of each, wet edges, fold and pinch to seal.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat for about 2 minutes until shimmering.
  4. Fry dumplings in batches for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil, and garnish if desired.
  6. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
