Method
- Season chicken with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic until fragrant. Add brown sugar, soy sauce, and water. Stir and simmer until bubbly and slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to the pan, coat in sauce, and cook for 1–2 more minutes.
- Serve with rice or veggies and garnish with parsley.
Notes
- Add a splash of vinegar or lemon juice for extra zing.
- Great with thighs or drumsticks too.
