Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot julienned
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

  1. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground turkey and cook until browned.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, stir for 1 minute.
  3. Stir in bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot. Cook for 5–6 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and cornstarch slurry. Pour into skillet and stir to coat.
  5. Simmer 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  6. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • Use tamari for gluten-free. Add crushed red pepper for spice.
  • Serve with jasmine rice or cauliflower rice.
