  • 4 cups Cooked Turkey Substitution: Leftover ham or rotisserie chicken may be used.
  • 8 slices Swiss Cheese or Provolone Substitution: Cheddar or Monterey Jack can be used if preferred.
  • 12 rolls Slider Rolls or Mini Brioche Buns Prep Note: Rolls should be sliced in half and kept attached.
  • 1 cup Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce Substitution: Apricot preserves or a thin layer of fig jam can replace cranberry sauce.
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise No substitutions necessary for this role.
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
For the Topping
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter Use salted butter if preferred.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Optional: omit if desired.
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder Optional: omit if desired.
  • 1 tablespoon Poppy Seeds Optional.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley Optional.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the slider rolls in half and arrange the bottom halves in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise and Dijon mustard. Stir until fully blended, then spread this mixture over the cut sides of the bottom rolls.
  4. Layer the cooked turkey evenly over the mayonnaise-covered rolls. Spoon the cranberry sauce over the turkey, then sprinkle cheese over the cranberry.
  5. Place the top halves of the slider rolls over the cheese layer and gently press down.
  6. Melt butter and whisk in garlic powder, onion powder, and optional toppings. Brush generously over the tops of the rolls.
  7. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden and melty.
  9. Let cool for a couple of minutes, then cut between the rolls and serve warm.
