Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
  • 8 slider buns
  • 1 avocado sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon chipotle sauce or to taste
  • Lettuce leaves for serving
  • Sliced tomatoes for serving

Method

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
  2. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape them into patties.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  4. While the patties are cooking, mix the mayonnaise and chipotle sauce in a small bowl to create the chipotle mayo.
  5. Toast the slider buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
  6. Assemble the sliders by spreading chipotle mayo on the bottom half of each bun, adding a turkey patty, a slice of avocado, lettuce, and tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
