Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels and toss with baking powder, salt, and black pepper. Chill uncovered in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  2. Preheat oven to 450ºF (232ºC). Line a baking sheet with parchment, place a wire rack on top and spray lightly with cooking spray. Arrange wings on the rack in a single layer.
  3. Roast wings for 40–50 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and crispy.
  4. In a saucepan, melt butter and honey over medium heat, then stir in red pepper flakes and soy sauce. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, then mix in orange zest and juice.
  5. Transfer crispy wings to a bowl and drizzle with the prepared sauce, tossing to coat well. Serve immediately with orange wedges.
