Get ready to impress everyone this winter with these Melted Snowman Cookie Dough Bites! These adorable, no-bake treats are made with creamy edible cookie dough, a smooth white chocolate coating, and fun snowman decorations. They’re the perfect combination of festive fun and deliciousness. Whether you’re hosting a holiday party, baking with kids, or just craving a winter-themed treat, these bites are as fun to make as they are to eat!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups edible cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 9 mini Oreos (separated into halves)
  • 2 cups (240 g) white chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 18 Rolo chocolate candies
  • 18 snowflake sprinkles (optional)
  • Black pearl sprinkles (for eyes and mouth)
  • Orange pearl sprinkles (for the nose)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Cookie Dough Balls
    • Scoop 1 tablespoon of edible cookie dough for each snowman (you should have 18).
    • Roll each portion into a smooth ball.
    • Place the cookie dough balls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 10 to 15 minutes until firm.
  • Make the Oreo Hats
    • Separate the mini Oreos into halves and scrape off the frosting.
    • Set aside the flat halves to create the base of the hats.
  • Prepare the White Chocolate Ganache
    • Combine the white chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl.
    • Microwave the mixture in 15-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth. This should take about 45 seconds to 1 minute.
  • Create the Ganache Base for Snowmen
    • Spoon 18 small rounds of melted ganache (about 1-inch in diameter) onto another parchment-lined baking sheet. These will serve as the melted “puddle” base for each snowman.
  • Assemble the Snowman Hats
    • Dip the flat end of each Rolo into the melted ganache.
    • Attach the Rolo to the flat side of an Oreo half to form a snowman hat.
    • If using snowflake sprinkles, dip them into ganache and attach them where the Rolo meets the Oreo.
  • Coat the Cookie Dough Balls
    • Remove the cookie dough balls from the freezer.
    • Using a fork, dip each ball into the remaining ganache to coat completely.
    • Gently press the coated dough ball into one of the ganache rounds on the baking sheet.
  • Decorate the Snowmen
    • Before the chocolate sets, add the decorations:
      • Place two black pearl sprinkles for the eyes.
      • Arrange 3-4 black pearl sprinkles in a semicircle for the mouth.
      • Add one orange pearl sprinkle in the center for the nose.
    • Place the Oreo hat on top of each snowman’s head.
  • Let the Chocolate Set
    • Allow the snowmen to set completely at room temperature for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Serve and Enjoy
    • Once the chocolate is fully set, your melted snowman cookie dough bites are ready to be enjoyed!

Notes

  • Edible Cookie Dough: If making homemade cookie dough, ensure the flour is heat-treated and there are no raw eggs.
  • Work Quickly: Once the ganache is melted, it will begin to set, so work quickly when assembling the snowmen.
  • Storage: Store the cookie dough bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • Customizations: Get creative with decorations! Add candy scarves, sprinkle buttons, or even edible glitter to give your snowmen extra personality.
