Tender, juicy chicken slow-cooked in ranch, au jus, and pepperoncini juices, Mississippi Chicken is rich, buttery, and ridiculously easy.


Ingredients

  • Boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • Ranch seasoning mix
  • Au jus gravy mix
  • Pepperoncini peppers
  • Butter

Instructions

  • Place chicken in a slow cooker. Sprinkle with ranch seasoning and au jus mix.
  • Add pepperoncini peppers on top and place butter slices over everything.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 4 hours.
  • Shred and serve.

Notes

  • Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or as sandwiches on toasted buns. You can adjust pepper quantity to control heat.
