This Sweet Hawaiian Crockpot Chicken brings tropical flavors to your table with juicy chunks of chicken simmered in a tangy pineapple and soy glaze.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken thighs or breasts, cut into chunks
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water
- Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Place chicken in slow cooker.
- In a bowl, whisk together pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, ketchup, and garlic.
- Pour over the chicken.
- Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Before serving, mix cornstarch and water, stir into sauce, and cook 10 minutes more to thicken.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
