Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 banana, sliced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Press the sugar cookie dough into a 12-inch round pizza pan or a baking sheet to form a crust.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden. Let it cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled cookie crust.
- Arrange the strawberries in the shape of a rectangle in the top left corner of the pizza to represent the stripes.
- Place the blueberries in the remaining rectangle area to create the stars.
- Use the banana slices to fill in any gaps or to add additional decoration.
- Drizzle the lemon juice over the banana slices to prevent browning.
- Chill the fruit pizza in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a healthier option, consider using whole wheat sugar cookie dough or a gluten-free alternative.
- Customize the fruit toppings based on seasonal availability or personal preference, such as using kiwi or raspberries.
