Crack Burgers are a delicious and flavorful burger recipe that combines ground beef with ranch dressing and onion soup mix, topped with cheese and bacon.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 8 hamburger buns
- Pickles, for serving
- Lettuce, for serving
- Tomato slices, for serving
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ranch dressing mix, and onion soup mix. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- Divide the meat mixture into 8 equal portions and shape them into patties.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with shredded cheddar cheese and cover to melt the cheese.
- In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Spread this mixture on the inside of each hamburger bun.
- Assemble the burgers by placing the cooked patties on the buns and adding crumbled bacon, pickles, lettuce, and tomato slices as desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add jalapeños or hot sauce to the beef mixture before cooking.
- Swap out the cheddar cheese for pepper jack or blue cheese for a different flavor profile.
