Description

A delicious recipe for steak and shrimp skewers, perfect for grilling enthusiasts.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 medium onion, cut into wedges
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the steak cubes and shrimp to the marinade, tossing to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  4. Thread the marinated steak, shrimp, bell peppers, and onion onto the skewers, alternating between the ingredients.
  5. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness and the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  6. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, try marinating the skewers overnight.
  • You can substitute the steak with chicken or use different vegetables like zucchini or cherry tomatoes for variety.
